Her birthplace was in California, Santa Monica on November 26, 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey when she was six. Regarding her education, she attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Following her graduation at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued her studies at the school. Additionally, she began playing the violin around the age of four and was referred to as Violin Girl. Due to her performance, she was called by that name. She taught violin lessons to kids in the area. At the age of nineteen, she appeared on the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. She was subsequently eliminated reaching 16th position on the show. The singer has performed a variety of songs like 'The Christmas Sing 2009' and 'Out for Blood 2010'.
