McKayla Rose Maroney has retired as an American musician and artist. She was awarded both silver and gold medals in the vault contests, representing both the American gymnastics team as well as The Fierce Five in the Summer Olympics in 2012. The beginning of her life. Lauren lived briefly in Topeka on her own however she was plagued by her memories of being kicked out of the church and her family. Her mother, father, two siblings and brother were all members of the church, but they cut off all connection with her.
