Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, businesswoman, inventor and model who hails from Australia. Her career began at home in Australia and then moving to Hollywood where she found great successes. George is an Perth native, who was attracted initially in skateboarding and dance. In her teens, she started modeling. In 1992, she won Western Australia's teenager Model. Her first screen role was on the episode of the Seven Network soap opera Home and Away. The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included parts in supporting roles on shows including Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her debut mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. She's one of America's most sought after Australian ex-pats. George is a businesswoman who introduced her own invention Style Snaps to the market.
