Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice of film and television, born January 31 1937, died on January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her theatre career and was featured in films in the late 1950s. In later years, she was an actor of note in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette was an recurring guest in a variety of television shows. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City, on January 31 of 1937. Her parents were Jewish as were the descendants of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
